幽默的意思是有趣或可笑而意味深长。幽默可以消除我们生活中的紧张与焦虑、减轻压力、润滑人际关系，帮助我们摆脱窘迫和困境、增强信心，从而促进人的健康，所以说幽默是健康的“催化剂”。

　　幽默是健康生活的艺术生活中幽默无处不在、无时不有，问题在于你如何捕捉和寻找。英国作家萧伯纳有个精辟的比喻：“幽默像马车上的弹簧，没有它，人生路上的每一块小石子都会让你颠簸得难受。”幽默是一种高级的谈话艺术，一个人格成熟的人常懂得在适当的场合使用恰如其分的幽默，把一些原来很困难的场面转变过来，使冲突在风趣中得到缓和。例如：有一天，古希腊哲学家苏格拉底正在和一群学生谈论学术问题，他脾气暴躁的妻子突然冲了进来，不由分说地大骂一通，接着又提起装满水的木桶猛地浇了过来，把苏格拉底全身都弄湿了。学生们以为老师一定会大怒，然而出乎意料，他只是笑了笑，风趣地说：“我知道，雷声过后，一定会下雨的。”大家听了，不禁哈哈大笑，苏格拉底的妻子也不好意思地退了出去。在日常生活中，绝大多数人都难免会与家人或同事发生不愉快，在这种时候倘若能像苏格拉底那样，就往往能化紧张为宽松，保持互助友爱、平等协调的人际关系。

幽默是健康的源泉与标志医学研究表明，人的大脑皮层有个“快乐中枢”，当其因受到适宜的刺激而呈现兴奋状态时，能使人体发生一系列的生物化学反应，调节中枢神经，改善血液循环，促进免疫功能，而幽默就是最好的刺激剂，因此科学家把幽默生动地比喻为“心理按摩”。幽默不仅能调节心理平衡，而且能延缓衰老。一个人要想生活得愉快、健康、长寿，不妨多点幽默。当然，并不是所有的人都能学会幽默的，只有那些热爱生活、胸襟博大、乐观豁达的人才会幽默，而一个忧心忡忡、愁眉苦脸和悲观失望者是不会有什么幽默感可言的。

　　由於各種農藥的大量使用，人體內往往聚集不少的有毒物質，一旦這些有毒物質達到一定的數量，就會造成對人體的損害，我們如果在日常飲食中注意食用一些解毒食物，就能保證身體的健康。下面介紹幾種日常生活中的解毒物質。

　　綠豆
　　祖國醫學認為，綠豆性味甘寒，解金石、砒霜、草木諸毒。對重金屬、農藥中毒以及其他各種食物中毒均有防治作用。加速有毒物質在體內的代謝轉化向外排泄，綠豆湯是最好的解毒水劑。經常接觸鉛、砷、鎘、化肥、農藥等有害物質者，在日常飲食中應多吃些綠豆湯、綠豆粥、綠豆芽。

　　豬血
　　我國傳統醫學認為，豬血有利腸通便、清除腸垢之功效。現代醫學證實，豬血中的血漿蛋白被人體內的胃酸分解後，能產生一種解毒、清腸的分解物，這種物質能與侵入人體內的粉塵、有害金屬微粒發生生化反應，然後從消化道排出體外。

　　海帶
　　中醫認為海帶性寒、味鹹，功能軟堅散結、清熱利水、去脂降壓。現代醫學認為海帶中的褐藻酸能減慢放射性元素鍶被腸道吸收，並能排出體外，因而海帶有預防白血病（血癌）的作用，對進入體內的鎘也有排泄作用。

　　茶葉
　　茶葉的解毒作用，早在《神農本草經》中就有記載。現代醫學認為，茶葉具有加快體內有毒物質排泄的作用，這與其所含茶多酚、多糖和維生素Ｃ的綜合作用是分不開的。

　　無花果
　　為水果中之佳品，富含有機酸和多種酶，具有清熱潤腸、助消化、保肝解毒功效。

　　胡蘿蔔
　　胡蘿蔔也是有效的解毒食物。不僅含有豐富的胡蘿蔔素，食後能增加人體維生素Ａ，而且含有大量的果膠，這種物質與汞結合，能有效地降低血液中汞離子的濃度，加速體內汞離子的排除。

Red roses were her favorites, her name was also Rose. And every year her husband sent them, tied with pretty bows. The year he died, the roses were delivered to her door. The card said, “Be my Valentine” like all the years before. Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say, “love you even more this year, than last year on this day. My love for you will always grow, with every passing year” She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear. She thought, he ordered roses in advance before this day. Her loving husband did not know, that he would pass away. He always liked to do things early, way before the time. Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine. She trimmed the stems, and placed them in a very special vase. Then, sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face. She would sit for hours, in her husband’s favorite chair. While staring at his picture, and the roses sitting there.
A year went by and it was hard to live without her mate. With loneliness and solitude, that had become her fate. Then, the very hour, as on Valentines before, The doorbell rang, and there were roses, sitting by her door. She brought the roses in, and then just looked at them in shock. Then, went to get the telephone, to call the florist shop. The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain, Why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain? “I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago,” The owner said, “I knew you’d call, and you would want to know. The flowers you received today, were paid for in advance. Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance. There is a standing order, that I have on file down here, And he has paid, well in advance, you’ll get them every year. There also is another thing, that I think you should know, He wrote a special little card...he did this years ago. Then, should ever I find out that he’s no longer here, That’s the card...that should be sent, to you the following year.” She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now flowing hard. Her fingers shaking, as she slowly reached to get the card. Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a note. Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he wrote...

Hello my love,
I know it’s been a year since I’ve been gone, I hope it hasn’t been too hard for you to overcome. I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very real. Sometimes in life, you find a special friend; Someone who changes your life just by being part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can’t stop; Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. This is Forever Friendship. This is the sacred RED ROSE.
